To welcome a new year of hope and complexity, here’s a shiny new podcast episode to energize your spirits! Episode 104 features some longtime favorites — like Side Liner, Artemis, Karmacoda, and Micropixie –plus some other super-notable artists who are new to Expandizons.

Starting with a track from Barrio Lindo, this atmospheric episode will brighten your day, enhance your work flow, and help you relax.

The Side Liner track –“Contemporary Landscape” — turns a poem by Christos Aliprantis into music. The lyrics, in Greek, are:

“Στις ελλείπείς μορφές
της νιότης

Micropixie gives us a sneak peek into her upcoming epic album (“Dark Sight of the Moon”) with the track “New Year’s Day,” which was featured in the New York Time’s January 4th playlist (along with D’Angelo and Paul McCartney) for kicking off 2019.

I’ve been watching Instagram videos of Artemis hand-crafting album sleeves for her newest release, “Janus Eyes” — and so happy to include one of the tracks from it in episode 104. And Karmacoda has a new release, “Intimate” — I’ve included a track from it in episode 104. Then stay tuned for tracks from Wasca, Kunterweiß, and more.
